The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) course provides an in-depth understanding of how FP&A can be applied by companies to gain a competitive edge in terms of identifying cost patterns, uncovering savings and maintaining cash flow which are vital for any business both at a strategic and operational level.
A key element of the program is the focus on practical application of financial models and analysis to assess strategic and operational positions by leveraging a wide range of options to reduce cost and create additional value for companies.
You will learn about the financial business environment, strategic planning, management reporting, and decision control support in working in Financial Planning and Analysis role. You will develop the competency to challenge established work processes and engage in strategic review, manage and identify business related Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), develop budgets and forecast as well as financial planning and analysis to evaluate and control a business and provide decision support for the senior management team.
The practical nature of the programme will ensure that you have experience of the majority of the decisions that senior management teams make and the support that they need to make those decisions. In the final exercise you will make some of those decisions and recommendations yourself based on the analysis that you have conducted through the programme
